Documents needed from Home

    • Please indicate who should be first contact

  • Doctors, dentist, eye doctors, specialists

  • Funeral arrangements if made

  • POA (Power of Attorney)

  • Living Will (if available)

  • Insurance Cards (Medicare & Supplemental Insurance)

  • Identification Card (Driver's License or ID Card)​

  • Personal Check for pro-rated rent and damage deposit

  • Petty Cash for individuals unable to manage small personal needs

  • Long-Term Care Insurance Policy

    • If you own a policy

WHAT DO I NEED FOR MY APARTMENT?

Furniture

  • Bed- Our first-floor apartments best accommodate a twin-size bed, although a full-size bed is manageable.​​

  • Comfortable chair(s). 

  • Chest of drawers, bedside tables, end tables, lamps.

  • Pictures- please use small nails. Please do not use command strips as they can tear drywall. Also, please do not use tape on cabinetry. ​

  • Television - REMOTE that came with device and HDMI cord.

    • ​If you would like two televisions, or if would like your television hung, please check with your admissions coordinator.

    • Certain brands work better with Spectrum: Sony, LG, Samsung, Panasonic, or Sharp; preferably not a Roku due to navigation difficulties.

Personal Items

  • Phone and charger- Landlines are available please discuss with your admissions coordinator

  • Personal Items: razor, hair products, dental products, hearing aids and charger if used

  • Clothing- now is a great time to consider what clothing items are used and closet space available. ​

  • Incontinence products

  • Bedding & Linens- bath towels, 'Two' sets of sheets, 'Two' mattress covers and/or soaker pads

  • Shower curtain, skid free bathmat 

  • Square laundry basket

  • Kitchenettes - three meals a day and snacks are provided. There is space for snacks, refrigerated drinks, and a coffee machine. 

  • Please text us an individual picture and then consider sending (text or email) wedding pictures, military and/or other pictures that tell a story.
